ARC offers antibody testing for individuals and businesses. If you have a lab order from an ARC physician, you can make an appointment at any ARC clinic for a blood draw. CareNow Urgent Care

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (coronavirus) or have been in recent contact with the virus, you can use their Web Check-In to come into a CareNow clinic. After evaluating you, their urgent care providers can order the antibody test.

The Antibody Test looks at your immune system, by taking a sample of your blood, to determine if you have a current infection or if you have had a prior one. This takes about 45 minutes to have the result. The antibody test is EUA (emergency use authorized), but currently no tests are FDA approved.

Antibody testing is limited to new and established UT Health Austin patients. Patients may call 1-833-UT-CARES (833-882-2737) to schedule a telehealth appointment with WorkLife to 1) determine if testing is appropriate and 2) discuss the implications of the test results for their individual situation. Self-pay cost is $80 for screening and testing plus an additional $70 lab charge.
