Marcia Lou Lucas (née Griffin; October 4, 1945 – May 27, 2026)[1] was an American film editor. She is best known for her work editing Star Wars (1977) and Return of the Jedi (1983), as well as other films by her then-husband George Lucas: THX 1138 (1971) and American Graffiti (1973). She also edited Martin Scorsese‘s Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (1974), Taxi Driver (1976), and New York, New York (1977).
