Art City Austin 2016


Art City Austin 2016 is moving to the Palmer Event Center (900 Barton Springs Rd) in 2016. This city’s original fine arts festival returns to the place of its origin – the site of the old City Colosseum where the festival launched in 1950 as Art Mart. We’ll have art both inside and out. This new festival site will offer you more parking, more shade, indoor restrooms, more art, more festival, and much more to come.  We’re excited about this change and the many ways that it improves the festival. We’ll roll out more details over the coming months, but go ahead and save the dates now: Join us for an evening reception and celebration party Friday night

Collector Reception & Art City Reception, Friday April 29th

You’re invited to an evening reception indoors at the Palmer Event Center on Friday, April 29 from 6:00 to 10 p.m. The reception will celebrate Art City Austin’s new location and newest addition the boutique Art City Fair presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, showcasing art galleries from across Texas as well as self-represented artists.

The reception caps a full day of art and music at Art City with a two-part reception. First, theCollectors Reception with drinks provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Winebow, Charles Smith Wines, Michelob Ultra and Ziegenbock and food by Stellla San Jac. The reception will take place on Friday, April 29 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets will include a swag bag and limited edition Art City Austin poster. Patrons can then stay for the Art City Reception from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. with an extensive selection of complimentary bites hosted by Stella San Jac and a cash bar. Stella San Jac is led by Executive Chef Michael Cerrie and features an eclectic southern menu serving a mix of healthy cuisine and comfort food.
