The Russian-installed governor of Kherson OblastVladimir Saldo, said 28 people were killed while several others were injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on hotels and restaurants in Khorly [uk]. Saldo accused Ukraine of deliberately targeting civilians during New Year’s Eve celebrations.[1]

Multiple animals were killed and injured in a Russian airstrike on the Feldman Ecopark in Lisne [uk], Kharkiv Oblast.[2]
